Experience

Drawing on her extensive background in Clinical Psychology and her successful career as a professional dancer, Tina takes a humanistic/holistic approach to helping her clients reach their goals and achieve happiness and success in their lives.

"I believe that, at the unconscious level, each of us has a deep understanding of what our unique purpose is (i.e. a true sense of Self). However, through conditioning, life circumstances, cultural/societal expectations, and many other variables, there has grown a great disconnect between the way we are and who we truly want to be. As a facilitator, my work involves helping my clients navigate through this process, so that they once again become aligned with all they want to be and are able to experience their truly natural state - the ultimate state of well-being."

Education

Continuing Education

Tina's continued education and training are as varied as her passions in the field. At Aids Project Los Angeles, she has worked with HIV/AIDS individuals and couples, and has co-facilitated a group of HIV women. At Child and Family Centers in Glendale and Santa Clarita, Tina also has studied and worked with children/families dealing with such issues as death and loss, trauma, divorce, and high-functioning autism, to name a few. She has especially enjoyed co-facilitating adolescent groups. Tina also takes a special interest in human sexuality. In addition to working toward licensure in psychology and postdoctoral certification in sex therapy, Tina continues her education in areas related to hypnosis to keep current on the latest techniques in order to enhance her clients' therapeutic experience.
