Biography for Lisa Cefalu, C.Ht.

"You can do ANYTHING once you set your mind to it!" With this philosophy Lisa Cefalú has built a thriving practice at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute. She specializes in helping her clients quit smoking in just one or two sessions, lose and maintain their weight, release fears and phobias, set and achieve major life goals.

Lisa has had tremendous success assisting her clients in managing chronic pain, releasing anger, stopping negative habits, building self-esteem, as well as enhancing their personal and professional relationships. Lisa personalizes each session to help her clients facilitate healing by integrating mind, body and spirit.

Lisa uses a powerful combination of Therapeutic Hypnotherapy combined with NLP, Time Line Therapy® and Therapeutic Guided Imagery to achieve amazing results with her clients. She also combines energy work through EMF (Electro Magnetic Field) balancing, Chakra Clearing and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to release negative energy trapped in the body such as anxiety or stress.

Lisa has expanded her practice to include working with women (and their spouse) who are, trying to become, or are, pregnant. Whether it is naturally or through IVF, she has helped her clients embrace this wonderful gift with emotional and physical comfort and ease.

Experience

For the past few years Lisa has been a Therapeutic Guided Imagery Facilitator at the WeSpark Cancer Support Center in Sherman Oaks, leading guided imagery groups to help cancer patients and their families deal with the emotional and physical side effects of cancer.

In addition to her private practice, Lisa is part of the faculty at HMI teaching Foundation Courses and Workshops. Lisa has developed several workshops for the American Hypnosis Association, "Inner Child Reframing" and "Hypnotic Suggestions", taught at HMI. She also mentors students at the Resident College.

Lisa received her education from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, the nations first accredited school in its field with over 700 hours of accelerated education required for certification. Lisa also studied Psychology, Business Management and Design at Samford University.
