Biography for Gloria Cliffords, C.Ht.

Gloria Cliffords is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist who uses a variety of behavioral techniques to assist her clients in transforming their lives. She works with adults, teenagers and children in need of changing their attitudes and behaviors to have healthier, happier and more prosperous lives as well as to adapt to life transitions.

Gloria often works with her clients on a spiritual level and is also known as an inspirational professional speaker and positivity trainer who has traveled across the nation to speak and work with clients. Ms. Cliffords also trains medical and psychology professionals in using hypnosis to enhance the results they obtain with their patients. Gloria is also a media personality and has been a guest on several radio talk shows, as well as hosting her own cable tv show entitled Mind Over Matter.

In addition, Gloria teaches International students at California State University, Northridge where she uses her textbook "Wisdom" (McGraw/Hill) to help her students perfect their English as well as learn positive thinking, self-hypnosis and other techniques to enhance their personal growth.

Because of her unique experience and knowledge of other cultures, she has worked with clients from all over the world to help them through hypnosis with their personal issues as well as intercultural communication and cultural adaptation. Gloria is experienced in working with translators to provide hypnotherapeutic and other services to non-English speakers. She also works in her practice with English speaking students on study skills and test anxiety.

Gloria Cliffords founded "Baby Power", an infant education program, in 1981 and has appeared on several TV and radio shows in that capacity. These shows included; The Gary Collins Show, The Morning Show, Good Day L.A., Sun Up San Diego, Aloha Waikiki, Hawaiian Rainbow, and has been interviewed for a variety of news shows across the country. In her hypnotherapy practice, she has worked with expectant and new parents to prepare them for a more relaxed childbirth and help them with parenting issues.
