Biography for Gary Helm, C.Ht.

Gary is a recent honors graduate of the Hypnosis Motivation Institute with a quickly growing practice. Gary's natural sense of empathy, compassion and humor allows him to establish a strong rapport with clients, opening the door to remarkable growth and progress in accomplishing their personal therapeutic goals, ranging from stopping smoking or losing weight to breaking writer's block.

Gary's path to becoming a Hypnotherapist was an unusual one. Having a long career as a talented yet obscure singer/songwriter in New York City, Washington D.C. and Hollywood, a few years ago he woke up from a lucid dream with the overwhelming sense that he was to pursue a new path as an actor. Gary immediately set out to manifest this new direction in his life.

Then, in the summer of 2005, he got his first opportunity to audition for a principal role in a feature film. The character in this film was undergoing hypnotherapy and was in a state of deep hypnosis in the audition scene. To prepare, Gary went to a friend who happened to be a hypnotherapist. One session with her helped him to land the role. And then in the process of researching and preparing for the role, Gary discovered HMI and decided to become a hypnotherapist himself.

Now, as a Certified Hypnotherapist, Actor and Musician, Gary greatly enjoys working with others to help them find and follow their paths and accomplish their goals, whether in the Performing Arts or wherever their hearts may lead them.

Experience

Gary took the course "Stop Smoking 101" offered by his mentor, John Melton, and has had very rewarding success in helping smoking cessation clients become successful, permanent ex-smokers. And now he has even more to offer clients having successfully completed Michele Guzy's Past Life Regression Certification course.
