HMI offers two choices for Accredited Hypnotherapy Training

HMI's Resident School

For residents of Southern California, U.S.A. HMI's resident school features an extensive, one year training and clinical internship training program. HMI's resident students attend school two evenings a week plus a minimum of one Saturday morning per month. This allows students to continue to work full-time in their "traditional" jobs, while preparing for the future helping others as a Certified Hypnotherapist.

Eligible students can receive Federal Financial Aid, and can, in fact, start school with no money down, and not even begin paying for tuition until six months after they graduate. HMI's internship program provides students the opportunity to earn while they learn and begin their private practices in a supervised setting at the HMI clinical facilities. HMI's resident school also offers additional certification programs in NLP and Therapeutic Imagery as well as wide variety of continuing education courses for graduates.

HMI's Distance Education School

Designed for students that live outside of the Southern California area or for students who are unable to attend evening classes. HMI's Distance Education School combines private tutorial instruction with videotaped instructions to bring the country's first Nationally Accredited Hypnotherapy training program to the privacy and convenience of your own home. Attendance in person is not a requirement, but HMI distance education students can obtain guest passes to attend HMI's resident instruction at no additional charge.

HMI Accreditation and Approvals

• Accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC), an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Approved by the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners (BBS) as a provider for continuing education credits for California licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and licensed Clinical Social Workers.
• Approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) as a provider of continuing education credits for Registered Nurses.
• Approved by the Dental Board of California (DBC) as a provider of continuing education credits for licensed Dentists and Dental Assistance.
• Approved by the Hypnotherapist's Union Local 472 as an educational provider for Certification in Hypnotherapy.

Hypnosis Motivation Institute Mission Statement

It is the mission of HMI to continually explore within ourselves and others how our subconscious mind can influence our behavior, affect the events of our lives, and empower us to achieve our dreams and goals.

Our philosophy is based on the belief that the subconscious mind is a goal machine, dedicated and driven for the fulfillment of a programmed path.

Our primary tenet is that all of the events of our lives, including "luck," both good and bad, is a manifestation of the energy that emanates from our subconscious mind as it continually strives to fulfill the agenda for which it is programmed.

Through research, education and the clinical application of this conviction, HMI aspires to better the world by fostering a greater awareness of these principles and developing the means that will enable mankind to influence the programming of their subconscious minds to be more congruous with their conscious desires.
