Education Awards and Union Certification

Students that purchase HMI training materials like the Foundations Course and Advanced Training Courses, are eligible to become officially enrolled in HMI's Extension School. Enrolled Students supplement their course material with private instruction from HMI Tutors. Enrolled students must complete examinations and are eligible for educational awards.

Educational Awards and Union Certification are awarded from two different sources. The educational Awards of Accredited Certificate of Completions and Diplomas are earned through HMI.

Certification, on the other hand, is optional and awarded through the Hypnotherapists Union, Local 472, AFL-CIO, OPEIU.

Students who successfully complete the Foundations Course receive a Certificate of Completion from HMI. The award of this Certificate of Completion is suitable for framing and professional representation. Graduates of the Foundations Course are also eligible to become a Certified Hypnotist with the Hypnotherapists Union, Local 472, AFL-CIO, OPEIU. The application form for Union Certification will be provided in your HMI materials.

Students who complete HMI Advanced Training programs after the Foundations Course are also eligible for higher level HMI educational awards and higher level certifications with the Hypnotherapists Union.
