Founded in 1968 by Dr. John G. Kappas, the HMI clinic has more than fifty therapists on its clinical staff and serves several hundred clients per week in its 10,000 square foot facility in Tarzana, California.

Recorded in HMI's professional television production studio, this nine volume video series combines over 100 hours of the country's most extensive hypnotherapy training, with personalized instruction from your own private HMI Tutor.

HMI's courses are approved by the Accrediting Commission of the DETC. The DETC is recognized as an accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education.

Graduates receive an Accredited Diploma in Hypnotherapy and satisfy all the requirements for certification as a Hypnotherapist with the National AFL/CIO, OPEIU Hypnotherapists Union.
