Volume 2-1 - Hypnotic Modalities

Featuring HMI Director, George Kappas, M.A., M.F.T. at his philosophic best. This lesson explores the essence of Hypnotherapy, a breakdown of the three essential elements for it to be successful and how these principles and outcomes exist in society under a variety of forms and titles.
Mr. Kappas leads the group through an exercise in critical analysis of religious modalities, gypsies, psychics, fire-walking and brain lateralization theories, examining the existence of the three essential elements in each.
Volume 2-2 - NLP Part 1

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) enjoys a strong following with both therapists and clients. On this tape, instructors Joe Leeway, C.Ht. and John McCarthy, C.Ht., cover NLP basics such as anchoring a state of excellence into your client's subconscious mind, how to reframe a problem to take away its negative impact, how to pace and then lead your client to a more resourceful state and how NLP relates to the Kappasinian model of hypnosis.
Volume 2-3 - NLP Part 2

This is the second tape in the NLP series and it builds on the basic techniques you learned in Volume 2-2. With instructors John McCarthy, C.Ht. and Joe Leeway, C.Ht., you'll learn NLP strategies to assist your clients in achieving their desired outcomes, how to develop states of excellence for yourself or your clients through role modeling and how to recognize and interpret the subconscious patterns that are a constant in all therapy sessions.
Volume 2-4 - Ericksonian Hypnosis

John McCarthy and Joe Leeway teach about the life, work, and language patterns of Milton Erickson. They give a number of demonstrations of the way in which hypnotherapists can use these patterns, and the patterns of the Meta-Model, to help their clients specifically understand their situation and then create the change they seek.
Volume 2-5 - Kappasinian Hypnosis

The foundations of HMI's training program originates from the theories and models of Dr. John Kappas.
HMI's director, George Kappas, M.A., M.F.T., leads you through a the developmental journal of Dr. Kappas from his family history through his professional twists and turns. The result is a humorous and endearing insight into the life and work Dr. John Kappas as only a son could tell it.
Volume 2-6 - Clinical Case Presentation

This clinical case features Dr. John Kappas working with Denise, a female in her mid twenties, wanting to work on relationships and change the type of men she gets into relationships with.
