Jonathan is a storyteller and psychologist who founded the Joseph Campbell Archives and Library and chaired the Mythological Studies Department at the Pacifica Graduate Institute. He draws on the wisdom of ancient storytellers to understand the workings of the human imagination.

This presentation explores the charming tale of the Ugly Duckling and uses the ideas of Joseph Campbell and Carl Jung to see how the wisdom in this classic tale can help us on our own quests.
