Mr. Leeway explains clients as a metaphorical reflection of therapist. Joe suggests asking “HOW” an addict “does” addiction, “taking” cocaine addict into his future, dealing with emotions, and getting client goal-oriented. Case 5: GOLF & PROZAC. Male. Issue: Golf + He is not taking his prescribed Prozac. He is an “Olympic caliber athlete.” Mrs. Perliss discusses the ethics of anti-depressants and hypnotherapy. She emphasizes including the client’s psychiatrist in his treatment.

Case 6: CHILD HYPNOSIS FOR ACTING. 13yr M. Issue: Parents want their son, the client, to be a “great actor" but are concerned about his commitment. Mrs. Elaine Perliss asks hard questions and sets the intern in a successful direction.

Case 7: WEIGHT-LOSS HYPNOTHERAPY. Emotional female. Issue: Weight-loss; she says she cannot “visualize or imagine.” Mrs. Perliss identifies what the client’s focus is on and using hypnosis to redirect her focus. Elaine suggests “Mental Bank” and discusses the difficulties of weight-loss therapy.

Case 8: “7 SPIRITUAL LAWS OF SUCCESS”. Mr. Mark Gravelle makes a surprise appearance to promote his workshop “7 Spiritual Laws of Success.” Both Mark and Elaine discuss how these laws are immediately applicable to hypnotherapy.
