Case 1: 44 year old male 70% physical suggestible. Presenting issue: Wants to increase concentration and focus for major poker tournament.

Case 2: 12 year old female somnambulist. Presenting issue: She is anorexic and afraid to gain weight but not worried about losing more. She is 95-91 pounds. She says there is a voice or obsessive thought that tells her not to eat. She wants to learn how to control the voice.

Case 3: 63 year old female physical suggestible. Presenting issue: Gambling addiction after losing her husband four years ago. Consequentially she has lost her home and friends. She is a devout catholic.

Case 4: 26 year old female from Iran and very religious. Presenting issue: Relationship strategies. She wants to find new ways to earn a man's love. He pursued her intensely in the beginning but now says he does not love her enough to marry her. She follows him at night and once found him with another woman.

Case 1: Male 36 years old. Presenting issue: Anger management issues in relationship. He also has substance abuse issues and is ordered to treatment programs, including hypnotherapy by Social Worker.

Case 2: Young couple. Presenting issue: Fertility problems. They have been trying to get pregnant for three years unsuccessfully. They have been married for ten years.

Case 3: Female late 40's. Presenting issue: Wants to lose her sweet tooth and lose weight.

Case 4: 42 year old female. Presenting issue: "Abreaction" during staircase induction.

Case 5: Female 53 years old. Presenting issue: "Problems with men." Has not been in a relationship for many years and is thinking maybe she wants to be.

Case 1: 36 year old male. Physical suggestible. Emotional sexual. Presenting issue: Anger management, specifically domestic violence. He was referred to intern by a social worker as a supplement to anger management group. He also has substance abuse problems. Mr. Kappas explains anger as a habit and the use of 12 Step Programs and spirituality as a solution.

Case 2: Female. Presenting issue: Strengthen her ability to cope. Intern wants to know if she should wait for the referral before they start working, but her psychiatrist is unavailable for two weeks.

Case 3: Couple. Presenting issue: Fertility. They have been trying three years for a child and want to try hypnosis as an alternative to medical assistance. Mr. Kappas discusses therapeutic and goal oriented imagery.

Case 4: Female in her 40's. 62% physical. Presenting issue: Weight loss and dietary habits. Intern wants to know if she needs a referral. Mr. Kappas discusses education and excitement as important for change and that taste is a conditioned, learned behavior.

Case 5: 42 year old female. Presenting issue: Compulsive shopper. She had an unusual abreaction during a staircase progressive relaxation. Mr. Kappas discusses sensitivity to client's fears, abreactions, and loss of control.

Case 6: 53 year old female. Presenting issue: Relationships. She hasn't had a meaningful relationship in years. Mr. Kappas suggests looking at E&P sexuality and emotional/physical shutdown.

Case 2: 63 year old female. Presenting issue: Calmness. She has temper tantrums at inanimate objects.

Case 3: 30 year old male close to somnambulist. Presenting issue: Procrastination. He believes he has undiagnosed ADD. He suffers from depression and suicidal ideation. Ms. Perliss suggests corrective therapy and discusses medical referrals.

Case 4: 2 women - 1. Somnambulist. 2. Physical suggestible. Presenting issue: Smoking cessation. Ms. Perliss discusses different needs for different suggestibility.

Case 5: 48 year old female. High Emotional. Presenting issue: Smoking cessation and panic attacks. She has been HIV+ for 25 years; she has anger, agoraphobia, body syndromes, and guilt with mother and father.

Case 6: 63 year old female high physical. Presenting issue: Fear of flying. Ms. Perliss discusses Law of Association, phobic response, and systematic desensitization.

Case 7: 79 year old female. Presenting issue: Paralysis. She is the therapists mother. Ms. Perliss discusses problem of treating family members.

Case 8: Female. Presenting issue: Smoking cessation. She left a message asking if therapist could also help her 10 year old daughter with nail biting.

Case 9: 53 year old emotional male. Presenting issue: Wants to quit smoking marijuana. Ms. Perliss discusses necessity of 12 Step Programs.

Case 1: 33 year old female. Presenting issue: Wants to know if she has been raped by her father.

Case 2: Unknown age and sex. Presenting issue: Stop smoking. They missed their second appointment and therapist wants to know if she can do phone sessions to make it up.

Case 3: 48 year old female. Presenting issue: Panic attacks. HIV positive for 25 years, originally came in to stop smoking. But now in second session revealed long standing anxiety issues which started when she was 17 years old and recent panic attacks as a greater priority.

Case 4: 43 year old male. Presenting issue: Wants to make more money.

Case 5: 38 year old woman. Presenting issue: Self-esteem, trust issues and boundaries with boyfriend who she feels is not nice to her and does not treat her well.

Case 6: 31 year old female. Presenting issue: Wants to have a baby. She has a very busy work schedule, school schedule and her and her husband are both striving to move up the career ladder and she is not sure how she can have the time to have a baby.

Case 1: Presenting issue: Anorexia. 12 year old girl just started a modeling career. Her mother called concerned that she went from 114 pounds to 95 pounds.

Case 2: Presenting issue: One half pack a day smoker wants to quit. 48 year old female is HIV positive for 25 years. She has lots of drama and trauma in her past and lots of present anxiety.

Case 3: Presenting issue: Trouble sleeping. Her mother called and said her daughter has had trouble getting to sleep since an early age, but is now concerned about how it might prevent her from enjoying "sleep-overs" with her friends.

Case 4: Presenting issue: Loss of father. 50 year old male just lost his father to cancer one week ago. Discussion leads to George relating the story of his own father's passing, his personal views on death, and an amusing story of Dr. Kappas affecting students in the afterlife.

Case 1: 44 year old female - Presenting issue is she is having a hip replacement next week. She had the surgery ten years ago and experienced a lot of pain. She is now having dreams remembering the sounds and surgery room conversations of the last surgery in a nightmare fashion. She wants hypnosis to prepare her for this new surgery.

Case 2: 38 year old male - Presenting issue is motion sickness.

Case 3: Female in late 30's - Presenting issue is sleep walking/eating/cooking at night. She has weight control issues and this sleep walking/eating/cooking is sabotaging her success.

Case 4: 30 year old female - Presenting issue is that she is a "social smoker." She only smokes when she drinks which is 2 to 3 times per week. Ten cigarettes per night. She stopped smoking when she was 18 years old.

Case 3: 57 year old emotional sexual male. Presenting issue: Tinitis - a chronic condition of sound. He hears varying sounds in ears. Mr. Melton discusses phobic brain disorder and auditory habituation.

Case 4: 45 year old male. 60% emotional. Presenting issue: Breathing. He was referred to a doctor. He is highly suggestible to his wife's tone of voice.

Case 5: 22 year old physical female. Presenting issue: Body syndromes. She is trying to decide if she should leave a two year relationship.

Case 6: 9 year old male. Therapist had a very difficult time with his induction. The boy did not know he was coming in.

Case 7: 12 year old female. She is curious about hypnosis and the power of the mind.

Case 8: 23 year old physical suggestible and emotional sexual. Presenting issue: Wants to be successful but infers to the negative about himself. Therapist wants to know if this is because of the incongruity of his suggestibility and sexuality.

Case 9: Male. Presenting issue: Pain management. He has crones disease. Mr. Melton explains ideomotor questioning.

Case 10: 54 year old female. Presenting issue: Grief and Loss. Her mother recently died. Mr. Melton explains secondary gain.

Case 2: 27 year old female. Physical suggestible and emotional sexual. Presenting issue: Weight control. She gained weight after reconciling with boyfriend. She is not complying very much with weight plan but is opening up more during counsel. Mr. Melton gives example of ideomotor questioning to determine cause.

Case 3: 34 year old female. Presenting issue: Weight loss - 60 pounds. She binges and purges and is on medication for post-mortem depression. Mr. Melton gives examples of diagnostic questions to ask.

Case 4: Female. Presenting issue: Weight control. She pays therapist but does not show up to appointments.

Case 5: 59 year old female. Presenting issue: Frustration. Her 31 year old son does not call her. Mr. Melton describes this as an example of ambiguity and the importance of identifying the real issue.

Case 6: 70 year old female. Presenting issue: Misplaced jewelry. Mr. Melton explains how to do Lost Item Regression.

Case 7: Male, possible somnambulist. Presenting issue: Anxiety. He is a musician and has a gig coming up. He has not performed in a while and is nervous.

Case 8: 48 year old male. Presenting issue: Anger management. His parents died recently and he and siblings are fighting over their money. He is complaining about headaches. Therapist thinks they are related to denial in stages of loss.

Case 9: Female. Presenting issue: Smoking cessation. Therapist wants to know if it can be done via phone.

Case 2: Female somnambulist in her 20's. Presenting issue: Stuttering. Mr. Gravelle explains source and solution of stuttering.

Case 3: Female. Presenting issue: Smoking cessation. Mr. Gravelle gives example of effective replacement behavior.

Case 4: Male in his 30's. Presenting issue: Habit of tightening abdominal muscles. Mr. Gravelle defines body syndrome and lists suggestions to treat them.
