Case 2: 28 year old Emo. Female. Presenting issue: Wants to work on her career. She feels her life is at a stand still.

Case 3: 46 year old Female. Presenting issue: Panick attacks prohibit her from driving. The onset of anxiety attacks was years ago.

Case 4: 33 year old Phys. Female. Presenting issue: She wants to stop her pattern of anxiety eating.

Case 5: 40 year old Emo. Female. Presenting issue: Wakes up 3 to 4 hours after he goes to sleep and can't get back to sleep. It started a couple years ago.

Case 1: HYPNOSIS FOR BIRTHING F. Emotional Suggestible. Issue: Pregnant; hypnosis for birthing. Lisa Machenberg breaks down the techniques for each session of the 6 week process of hypno-birthing - including how to induce various levels of anesthesia, what to say in hypnosis, and useful information and techniques to prepare the client for all aspects of the birthing experience. Have your notes and pen ready as you are about to add hypno-birthing techniques to your repertoire of skills and interventions.

Case 2: FAMILY SYSTEMS & COPING W/ ABUSE 36yr. F. 58% Physical Suggestible. Issue: Methods to cope with an alcoholic husband. Mrs. Machenberg provides powerful hypnotic-suggestions and interventions - especially within family-systems. Also, she recommends a valuable book for above circumstances and where to go for help. Listen for an amazing imagery-shield technique!

Case 3: SUGGESTIONS FOR REJECTED PHYSICAL FEMALES 38yr F. Physical. Issue: Weight-loss and coping w/ ex-boyfriend’s infidelity. Mrs. Machenberg provides special hypnotic-suggestions for physical females. Definitely take notes because Lisa shares word-for-word what to say to a rejected physical female (a common client!), shares an inspirational story from her own life, and explains a unique drawing technique.

Case 4: BASIC ASSERTIVENESS TRAINING & HYPERKINETIC CLIENTS 33yr. M. Issue: Rocking. Mrs. Machenberg gives the hypnotic-suggestions for hyperkinetic individuals and demonstrates Basic Assertiveness Training - a very informative and entertaining listen.

Case 1: HOW TO USE PENDULUMS: F. Emotional sexual. Issue: Career indecision. Mr. Gravelle gives a special explanation of emotional sexuality and the decision-making process, wherein he cites an enlightening example from Deepak Chopra. Also, Mr. Gravelle explains how to use a pendulum specifically for the web audience. Take lots of notes on this case!

Case 2: IBS & HYPNOSIS: F. 24yr Issue: IBS. Mr. Gravelle defines an 'abreaction' in terms of Body-Syndromes and what IBS 'means' subconsciously. In concluding he provides the proper suggestions to use for IBS- a very informative case if you are curious about body-syndromes and treating IBS.

Case 3: DENTAL HYPNOSIS FOR CHILDREN: Issue: children undergoing dental procedures and receiving 'shots'. Mr. Gravelle defines what the primary fear is of children undergoing medical procedures and recommends how to help these children, including what to say and do for 'shots'.

Case 4: SUGGESTIONS FOR ANXIETY & FLYING: F. 50 yr. Emotional sexual. Issue: Anxiety about graduating from medical school and starting practice. Mr. Gravelle gives the proper suggestions and techniques for this client. Also, Mr. Gravelle defines the 'Law of Dharma', gives a helpful, humorous definition of 'anxiety' and 'fear', shares the key to air-travel, and relates his own long-term experience including a personal 'venting dream'.

Case 1: DESENSITIZATION W/ FINGER SIGNALING 54yr. F Issue: Fear of needles; she has breast cancer. Mr. Melton explains the process of Desensitization with Finger Signaling, including hypnotic suggestions and information about desensitization.

Case 2: TECHNIQUES FOR PAIN-CONTROL Issue: Hemorrhoid pain and surgery. The client refuses anesthetic for his upcoming surgery. Mr. Melton expresses his noteworthy concerns and the “dangers of expectation” to the audience’s humorous delight. He continues providing pain-management techniques and shares a case from his own exemplary practice. Listen to this if you want to learn a unique color/imagery-process for pain-control!

Case 3: ABUSE & COMMUNICATING W/ DOCTORS F. Issue: Coping with abusive husband; psychological referral. Mr. Melton addresses communication between Hypnotherapists and licensed medical professionals, and what aspects can be addressed hypno-therapeutically without a referral.

Case 4: RESISTANT CLIENT 28yr. M. referred from doctor. Issue: He has spots on his skin that the doctor explained as deriving from ‘emotional causes’. The intern is concerned about ‘passive aggressive tendencies’ she’s noticed in the client. Mr. Melton asks ‘key’ questions, addresses ‘family-systems’, and how to proceed therapeutically with this client. He also explains coping-mechanisms in regard to resistance.

Case 5: SLEEP DISORDER 52yr. M. Physical suggestible. Issue: Sleep disorder- consequently has had three car accidents. Mr. Melton discusses sleep states: the importance of REM, apnea, and what possibilities to consider- including ‘personal history’ and sleep-study.

Case 6: BLUSHING & AUTHORITY FIGURES 28yr. M. Issue: Blushes whenever speaks with boss and other authorities in the workplace. Mr. Melton shares his suspicions, explaining the blushing as a fight/flight response to triggered by authority figures. He suggests what hypnotic interventions to use- including desensitization to authority figures.

Case 7: NIGHTMARES & SCARY THOUGHTS 24yr. F. Issue: Nightmares and disturbing thoughts about her child. Mr. Melton connects the client’s trouble with possibly repressed and even past-life memories- while not thrusting aside a biochemical cause. He shares the proper hypnotic suggestions to use that avoid ‘digging’, and Mr. Melton explains the importance of referrals for like cases- a very fascinating listen!

Case 8: EATING & CONTROL F. Issue: Eating; she cannot control her eating. Mr. Melton briefly lists what the first session should consist of especially obtaining a detailed personal history- touching on what questions to ask to obtain the information needed for this client.

Case 9: MIGRAINES 31yr. F. Issue: Severe migraine headaches for ten years. Mr. Melton suggests techniques to use from neutralizing triggers to symptomatic interventions such as pain management and prevention. And he also provides notable hypnotic-suggestions for the client’s self-hypnosis tape.

Case 1: 21 year old female. Presenting issue: Fear of flying. Her grandfather and her have the same fear. She is a phone session client.

Case 2: 36 year old female. Presenting issue: Relationship issues and communication. She just got into a new relationship and feels he doesn't understand her.

Case 3: 54 year old female. Presenting issue: She wants greater clarity regarding career and more self confidence about her capabilities. She is 62% Emotional Sexual and Suggestible.

Case 4: 55 year old male. Presenting issue: He had kidney cancer and has a "belief he can't beat the disease." He is cancer free currently. He lost two family members recently.

Case 5: 60 year old female. Presenting issue: Insomnia caused by incessant itching. She has been itching for 14 years. Her husband left her because of the itching. The itching started at the same age that her mother committed suicide. She describes many issues of abuse. This case brought up discussion of "victim mentality".
