Case 2: PAIN & SECONDARY GAIN Issue: Client is dependant upon pain. Cheryl uses a great example from Dr. John Kappa’s practice to illuminate this issue as she explains the problem of Secondary Gain. Following is an interesting discussion about ‘cutting’.

Case 3: IMAGERY, PSORIASIS & CHILDREN. 6yr M. Issue: psoriasis. Cheryl shares many valuable imagery tools for psoriasis and working with children. If your practice includes children and/or clients with physical ailments such as psoriasis, this case is a MUST.

Case 5: EMOTIONAL SEXUALITY & EXERCISE F. Emotional sexual/ Physical suggestibility. Issue: weight-loss- 10lbs and desire to exercise. Cheryl provides excellent information for working with ‘incongruent’ clients and emotional sexuality- such as the idea of ‘importance’ for emotional sexuality, ways to make exercise enjoyable and important with emotional sexuality, building enthusiasm and desire, and using corrective therapy. This is a very informative case due to Cheryl’s long-experience, insight, and creativity.

Case 6: CONFIDENCE & STUTTERING M. 44yrs. Issue: stuttering and confidence. The strange fact of this case is that no one notices the client’s stuttering. Cheryl suggests what to work on in this brief case such as debunking past negatives for confidence building and if the client’s stuttering is external or internal.
